Cuddesdon Church Fete

The fete has come and gone once more, the Gazebos put away and the props and sideshows stored for another year.

The weather was certainly not kind to us, however for the first hour and a half the rain held off and an amazing number of stalwart visitors streamed through the gates and enjoyed everything that was on offer.

The Oxford City Silver Band played splendidly as usual, and we were delighted to have a performance from the ‘Strawberry Fayre Majorettes’. The dog show was a great success and many thanks to all who organised and took part.

The final total of takings is not yet available but will be published next month. However, the indications are that we should at least equal last years takings and that is a real tribute to everyone involved and particularly to all of you who participated, gave prizes and items for sale and came along on the day and supported the event.

Thank you everyone.
