By the time you read this, we hope that the Parish Council will have signed a 50 year lease for the land below the recreation ground to establish a community orchard for the village. A huge step forward.

It’s nearly Christmas and I have so many people to thank for helping us get to the ‘season of good will’ largely unscathed.

I don’t want to write about our local issues this month, even though there are many.

It feels like a hectic month has passed with autumn setting in and a change of clerk on the Parish Council.
